Age

The Age Factor is one of the six factors for which points are awarded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada Officers in determining whether a Skilled Worker applicant will be accepted or refused.

Up to 10 points are awarded under the Age Factor on the following basis:

Age of Applicant	Points
16 years or less	0
17 years	2 points
18 years	4 points
19 years	6 points
20 years	8 points
21 years to 49 years	10 points
50 years	8 points
51 years	6 points
52 years	4 points
53 years	2 points
54 years or older	0
