The Language Skills Factor is one of the factors for which credits are awarded by Canadian Immigration Officers in determining whether a visa applicant will be accepted or refused. Your points score will be based on your ability to read, write, listen to, and speak English and French. As English being one of the official language, all applicants other than native speakers needs to prove their language ability on appearing for an examination in English.
